Daily Devotion
The weary soldier
Good Monday morning from Texas. Please pray for me because my allergies are really bad right now. I can hardly see. Galatians 6:9 says, And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Our devotion is called : ” The weary soldier ” There is an old song that says, you gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em, know when to walk away, know when to run. It’s kind of like that in our walk with the Lord. Because a person needs help, does that mean we help? Because a person is broke does that mean we give them money? Sometimes God is working on people and if we are not careful we can get in the way. I think it’s like when God called Gideon and Gideon kept asking God questions. It’s a good thing to talk with the Lord about what we are going to do. Whether it’s to help someone or ourselves, just because it seems right doesn’t always mean it’s what God wants. Be sensitive to God’s Holy Spirit in what we are doing and you will know when to hold em, and know when to fold em so to speak.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
