Our devotion today is called, ” The Word ” Psalm 119:49-50 says, Remember the word of Your servant, Upon which You have caused me hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life. Asking God to remember our words is saying our words are good. Malachi 3:16 says, Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name. It is pleasing to God when our words are good. His word is always good and powerful, Hebrews 4:12, The word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Jesus is also called the word, John 1:1 and verse 14. Psalm 119:50, This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life. It’s all about Jesus. He gives us life and comforts us through this life, He is the Word.
