Daily Devotion
There is a time
Good day, I am doing the devotion early because me and Tina are working tomorrow as ushers for the graduation.
Our devotion is called, “There is a time” Ecclesiastes 1:1 says, To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. If you are a bit old, you might remember this in a song by the Byrds. It is so true that there is a time for everything. We see the seasons come and go, we see friends and family come and go, we see presidents come and go and on and on. It tells me this. Everything on this planet is temporary except for God. Whatever we do in the Lord is eternal. Jesus said if you give someone a glass of water in the name of a disciple, you have a reward. I don’t like to think on the past too much because it saddens me. Too many people I love gone. But even though it is sad here and now, there is coming a season where there will be no more tears, no more sadness, no more death, Revelation 21:4. Seasons come and go, but God and the things of God are eternal.
Have a blessed weekend, go to church on Sunday and always remember that Jesus loves you!
