Good Monday morning, Pray for the families that lost loved ones over the weekend here in Texas. 81 confirmed dead and 25 missing, just horrible.

Our devotion today is called, ” There is hope ” Romans 6:23 says, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. This life deals us some bad things. And the worst of them all is death. So much of it we don’t understand and want to blame God for tragedies and that is usually the normal thing to do. Anyone who has children knows it would be the worst thing in the world to lose a child. My mom had 2 sons die that she knew of and then my twin brother pastor Mike died and by that time my mom was restricted to a bed and we decided not to tell her about Mike’s passing. But she had said to the family losing a child is the worst thing a mother will ever go through. I believe that would also go for a Father. So, think of God the Father watching as His Son died on that cross for the sin of the world and the people laughed and mocked. God sent His Son because He knows how tough this life can be and we are completely lost without Him. He made a way, not only to heaven but to get through the valleys of this life. I know from personal experience.
