Good Monday morning to you all, friends and family. Draw me close to You, never let me go, I lay it all down again, to hear You say that I’m Your friend.

Our devotion today is called,” To all who call upon Him in truth ” Psalm 145:18 says, The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. We can call upon God in desperation, or manipulation, or just flat out selfishness but when we call upon Him in truth, He draws near to us. The truth is we need Him desperately in our lives every step of the way. Don’t try to make deals with God by saying if You do this or that I will do this or that because God will not be manipulated into anything. We must all come to Him in the name of Jesus which is truth. And when we do that God hears our prayers. James 4:8 says, Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. The best way to draw near to God is through prayer and His word and worship in song. With these three it is like a well balanced meal that nourishes our bodies but these three will nourish our souls.
