Understanding ” is the title of our devotion. Proverbs 1:2 says, To know wisdom and instruction. To perceive the words of understanding. To have understanding we must first have wisdom and instruction. The wisdom and instruction that only comes from God Himself. Solomon who wrote these words was considered a very wise person. Where did he get it from. If you remember, he prayed and asked God for his wisdom to be able to be a good king. 1st Kings 3:5-12. People get understanding by researching whatever it is that they are interested in. They search out things pertaining to whatever it is they are interested in. Are you interested in God? If so, leave a comment on what sparked your interest. I became interested because my nephew Gary kept talking about God and so it sparked my interest of who this God is. When I ;looked into it I became born again and the rest is history or His story. It was grace, that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears released, how precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed.
