Why think of me?
Good day to you all from Texas.
Our devotion today is called, ” Why think of me? ” Psalm 144:3-4 says, LORD, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him? Man is like a breath; His days are like a passing shadow. Job 7:17 says, What is man, that You should exalt him, That You should set Your heart on him. Why does God put so much into mankind? When I look at mankind I think of how much it hates God. Most of the world flat out ignores the Lord Jesus Christ. They eat His food, breathe His air, live in His dwelling place, use everything that is the Lord’s and flat out ignore Him and yet He still loves the world, John 3:16. I think it’s kind of like Gideon. When God called Gideon he was hiding in his basement threshing wheat, and yet God saw something there. God knows what we can be if we would only turn to Him. He has the greatest life and through Him we can become the greatest people, through the power of His Holy Spirit. The bottom line is, God loves us in spite of us and that blows my mind. What is man, that You take knowledge of Him is a million dollar question.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you.
