My Jesus, My Savior, LORD there is none like You.

All of my days, I want to Praise, The wonders of Your mighty love. My comfort, My shelter, Tower of refuge and strength, Let every breath, and all that I am, never cease to worship You.

Our devotion today is called, ” Your preserving power “Psalm 121:7-8 says, The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and coming in. From this time forth, and even forevermore. To preserve us, keep us, watch over us says how much He loves us. I have come to the conclusion that nothing will come against us unless God allows it. So often the bad things in our life will end up drawing us closer to Jesus. I am not saying God does bad things to us but He allows things to happen, not all things but some, to get our attention. We see this with the children of Israel. God would allow a wicked king to rule over them until they cried out for help. We see this in the book of Judges a lot. To preserve something is to make it last and that is what God does with His children, not only for this life but for the next one. Jesus said in John 11:26, whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this? Now that’s a preservative. Only God can preserve a life for eternity and we thank You Lord for that.
