Last but not least
Good day to you all from Texas and thanks to everyone who came on our live feed last night.
” Last but not least ” is the title of our devotion today. Matthew 20:16 says, So the last will be first, and the first last, For many are called, but few chosen. Jesus said these words after the story of the farmer hiring workers and the last guy that was hired got the same pay as the first guy. That is one of the things I love about our Lord. It doesn’t matter if you come to Him at 8 or 80 years old you receive the same salvation as everyone. You hear people saying last but not least when speaking of someone at the end of their talk. And what they are saying is because this is the last person mentioned, doesn’t mean they are less than all before. Well God is that way with all of us. Even though there are different rewards for those who have put their hand to the plow and not looked back. 1st Corinthians 9:24-27.It’s never too late to receive salvation, My mom gave her life to Jesus in her 80’s and she is now in heaven. The very last person, whoever they are, that accepts Christ as their savior will be the same as the first person who believed in the Lord. God is so good.
Have a blessed weekend, go to church on Sunday, and always remember that Jesus loves you!
