Good morning or afternoon or night whenever you read this.

We will call today’s devotion “Ruby Tuesday” because we are going to do our devotion out of Proverbs Chapter 8 and verse 11 Which says, for wisdom is better than Rubies, and all things one may desire cannot be compared with her. A rare ruby can be worth up to$100,000 per carat. Now that is an expensive stone. So why does it say that wisdom is better than that? Because the wisdom spoken here is a wisdom that is given by God. James Chapter Three Verses 13 through 17 speaks of this. It says, who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, Full of mercy and good fruits, Without partiality and without hypocrisy. The wisdom that is from above is better than Ruby’s and it is better than all the money in the world because it’s going to guide you into a life that is full of peace and love and good fruits to whereas money and riches will never do that. Whatever you may desire that is apart from God at this time cannot be compared with what God has for you in His perfect plan! Jeremiah chapter 29 and verse 11 Says, for I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the LORD, Thoughts of peace and not evil, To give you a future and a hope. Seek wisdom from above and not from this earth.
