Daily Devotion

A better country

Today I would like to dedicate this devotion to Charlie Kirk and his family. And today also is 911. This month has turned out to be a month of sorrows. My twin passed away 9/22/03.

” A better country ” is the title of our devotion today. Hebrews Chapter 11:13-16 says, These all died in faith, not having received the promise, but having seen them afar off, were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind That country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. These Verses are speaking of the Old Testament Saints that lost their lives following God. I truly believe if Charlie Kirk we’re in the Old Testament He would be mentioned in this chapter. He founded Turning Point when he was only 18 years old and it has grown to be nationwide and by 31 years old he had accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime. Yesterday we lost a voice. A voice that was reaching out to the lost youth of America and just telling them the truth but also listening to them and having conversation with them. By doing that Charlie Kurt won so many people to Jesus and to get away from the demonic things that are being taught to youth today. We not only lost a voice but his wife lost her husband his children lost a father but we know that Charlie Kirk is in a better country and on to glory. Yesterday September 10th 2025 Started off wonderful It was my puppy’s birthday. They had turned two years old but by a little afternoon it turned into a very dark day. But we don’t mourn like those who have no hope,1st Thessalonians 4:13. We know that our brother Charlie Kirk is now with the Lord Jesus Christ and on to glory. Second Timothy Chapter 4 verse 6 says, For I am already being poured out as a drink offering and the time of my departure is at hand I have fought the good fight I have finished the race I have kept the faith verse 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day, and not not to me only but also to all who have loved his appearing. Pray for Charlie Kirk’s family, especially his wife and children. September 10th will be remembered as a very dark day in history but a great day for Charlie Kirk as he entered into glory and I’m sure that he heard Jesus Say, Well done, good and faithful servant.

Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you
