Good day to you all and I pray you have a wonderful day. Tonight we will be going live at 6 California time 8:00 Texas time we will be in the book of Acts Chapter 9 looking at the radical conversion of the Apostle Paul. It will be on Youtube Pastor mark 3580.

The title of our devotion today is called, ” A heavy heart ” Proverbs Chapter 25 at verse 20 says. Like one who takes away a garment in cold weather, And like vinegar on soda, is one who sings songs to a heavy heart. Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 and verse 4 says there is a time to weep, and a time to laugh. To be honest we have had a heavy heart since June 22nd here in Texas. When you go through the valley of the shadow of death it seems there is nothing that will comfort you through this time. And for someone to come and try and cheer you up would be like taking away your coat in Cold weather or pouring vinegar on soda Or trying to cheer you up with a song. Even though we know our loved one is with the Lord It still breaks our heart to not see them here or talk to them here or receive a text any longer. I really believe only the Lord will allow a heavy heart to be lightened up in His time because grief is a process and that process can take a long time. Jesus knew this grief when He walked this earth. Isaiah Chapter 53 and verse 3 says, He is despised and rejected by men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. This tells me Jesus went through this same grief that we go through and when it comes right down to it He is the one that will ease the heavy heart in due time. Hebrews Chapter 4 and verse 15 says, For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin. In the midst of what we are going through I will continue to turn to Jesus for strength and help and please continue to pray for our family because this is a tough one!
