Drastic measures

Good Monday morning to everyone. Our dear sister Pam Scott went home to be with Jesus yesterday. Please pray for her family and please continue to pray For Charlie Kirk’s family especially his wife and kids.

Our Devotion today is called, ” Drastic measures “. In Matthew chapter 27 verse 29 and 30 it says, And when they had plotted a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head and a Reed in His right hand, And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him saying Hail king of Jews and they spit upon Him, and took the Reed and smote Him on the head verse 31, and after that they mocked Him, They took the robe off from Him and put it on his own raiment on Him and let Him away to crucify Him. Drastic measures or extreme measures comes from Hippocrates who coined the phrase after extreme diseases and extreme cures. We came up with the phrase extreme measures or desperate times call for desperate measures because of this. It doesn’t get any more extreme than killing somebody when you don’t agree with them. But that is exactly what they did with our Lord all those years ago when He came preaching the Gospel slash good news and healed the sick, fed the hungry, visited those that couldn’t help themselves. And for his love and kindness the evil people of this world killed Him or a better word would be murdered Him. I can’t get over the same thing happening to Charlie Kirk. Because he debated with the youth of today sharing what he believed to be the truth and the right way to live an assassin killed him or murdered him. It would not have never happened if it wasn’t for the mainstream media pushing the idea of President Trump being Hitler and his followers being Nazis and fascists. But sometimes extreme measures happen to wake up a generation and we’re seeing that happen today. Pray for this movement to continue and get stronger and stronger. Love you all from Texas.

Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
