Happy September 2025. Well today is mine and my twin brother Pastor Mike Lewis, our birthday. And I would like to wish my brother in heaven a happy birthday the 22nd of this month it will be 22 years since you went home to be with Jesus and I still miss you.

” Few days ” Is the title of our devotion today. Job Chapter 14 verse one says, man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. The longer you live the more you will appreciate a verse like this because it is so true in this life we will have many many trials and tribulations. In John Chapter 16 Jesus said in this world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world. I am grieving over what has happened on September 10th and this verse fits so well even though Charlie Kirk had a beautiful life and a beautiful wife He still had so much trouble defending righteousness. People hated him for standing for family values and for standing up for common sense. I thank God for all the men and women throughout the ages that have fought the good fight of faith and did not give in to the evil of this world. My brother Pastor Mike being one of them. He fought the good fight of faith until God called him home on September 22nd 2003. This has ended up a bit of a rough month but God is in control and I know that all things are working together for the good for those who love God and are the called according to his purpose. Thank you dear Lord Jesus for calling me out of the darkness of this world and putting my feet upon the rock and opening my spiritual eyes.
