Love you all from Texas. We have some great news to share today, our son and daughter Joe and Chelsea Have been accepted as the birth parents and they will be adopting their baby girl who will be born on January 7th, which is on my son Joseph’s birthday. We have a new addition to the family. What a great birthday gift. I will be going live tonight at 8:00 Texas time for anyone who would like to join in.

We will be in the Book of Colossians Chapter two. ” Golden rule ” Is the title of our devotion today. Matthew Chapter 7 and verse 12 says, Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the Prophets. Nobody wants to be treated badly or spoken badly of. We are living in a day where social media makes it so easy to be mean. To say things that are ugly about people we don’t even know. As Christians we should never fall into the trap of returning evil for evil because we become worse than those who are doing it because we know better. When Jesus said this all those years ago, the Pharisees of that time treated people horribly and yet they claimed to be the spokesperson of God. As God’s children we are held to a much higher standard than an unbeliever and because we are, We should always pray that God would help us to be a good example to whoever it is that we might want to say bad things about or treat badly. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can become the light shining that we need to be in these dark days. And we can do it, Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
