Good morning everyone. 

The start of a new week and God is with us, Hebrews 13:5. Praise God for His many promises which are all true. Continue to Pray for Eli, Angel, Raymond, Jesse, Marty Nelson and his wife Mary. 

Today’s devotion is called, ” In His Name ” Matthew 18:20 says, For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them. It only takes a few people to have fellowship. The key to fellowship is in, ” His name “. What does that mean when Jesus said, Gathered together in My Name? It means that our gathering together is about Him! It can be as small as 2 people and as simple as just talking about our Lord. When there are 2 people in fellowship it becomes 3 automatically, because Jesus joins. Some of the greatest times of fellowship have been with just a few. When the disciples met upstairs after the crucifixion there were just a few of them and remember what happened? Jesus showed up! Remember the 2 guys on the road to Emmaus talking about the crucifixion, and Jesus showed up. It shouldn’t matter to us if there are 5 people or 500 people, what should matter to us is that Jesus shows up! Last night we had 9 people here for Bible study and there is no doubt Jesus showed up, and that is what’s most important. Always remember that it is about the number and that number is the number 1, The person of Jesus, because if He doesn’t show up, your meeting is dead in the water. So gathering in His name is what is so important, That Christ is the center and being lifted up! What so many look at as a small thing, is not a small thing at all if Christ is there.
