Good day from the great state of Texas. Please continue to pray for my great nephew David Lewis, he is still missing, today is day 18.

Our devotion today is called, “Mirror mirror on the wall” James 1:23-25 says, For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in the mirror, for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. The Bible teaches that the law was our schoolmaster or our tutor. We can never keep the law but the law is good. It shows us right from wrong, good from evil and the Bible teaches in Romans 2:15 That we have the law written in our hearts. Even though the law does not save us, It shows us like a mirror What is wrong. I can look in the mirror and see that I have dirt on my face but then it is up to me to wash my face and make it clean and that’s what the law does. I thank God for giving us the law to show us right from wrong good from evil, and for Jesus sending the Holy Spirit to give us the ability to turn from sin. Mirror mirror on the wall, I saw my sin and heard Your call. Thank you so much dear Lord for pulling me up out of a horrible pit and putting my feet upon the rock. Be doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving yourselves.
