Good morning everyone and please pray for a safe trip for us.

We are leaving a week from today for California. Also pray for Misty and her extended family, her brother was murdered 2 days ago. Pray for comfort and pray for Eli and the gang for comfort and healing.

Today’s devotion is called, ” Money can’t but you love ” Acts 8:20 says, “But Peter said to him, your money perish with you, because you thought the gift of God could be purchased with money. There are a lot of things money can buy. Houses, cars, even friends. And there are a lot of things money can’t buy like life, love, happiness, and most of all, salvation. The Bible says that God is love. 1st John 4:8. The love of God is not for sale. When Simon the sorcerer saw the wonderful works of God he thought he could buy them. The most important thing in our lives can’t be bought. And that is the love of God. God desires a true and pure relationship with His people. We can’t buy God’s forgiveness, mercy, or love, it’s all free and it is given by a merciful and loving God. Money can’t buy you love when it comes to the love of God! And I don’t know about you but that makes my day because I’m not rich enough to buy God’s love. So let’s all be thankful that our God can’t be bought and His mercy endures forever. It is by grace we are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God; not of works, lest anyone should boast.
