Thank you dear Lord for another day here on planet Earth and we all pray together that we have a blessed day and we pray for those that are less fortunate and that are going through the fiery trials of life.

“OVERWHELMED ” Is the title of our devotion today. Psalm Chapter 61 verse one and two say, Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer, From the end of the earth I will cry to you, when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. How many times does this world get to us? Whether it’s finances, sickness, bad relationships and so many other things. We can end up like Peter on the Sea of Galilee when he got out on that ocean and began to walk to Jesus and he noticed the storm all around him and he began to sink because he Took his eyes off Jesus and began looking at what’s going on around him. I can be overcome or overwhelmed by the trials of life or I can be overwhelmed by God Himself By spending time with him praying and reading His word And there will be times when we will get so overwhelmed by his presence that it brings that peace that surpasses all understanding. Whatever you might be going through right now just know that Jesus never misses a thing and that He will never leave nor forsake you. God says over and over in his word, Be strong, fear not, be courageous! Why? Because the devil roams about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, 1st Peter 5:8. but greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world, 1st John 4:4.
