Good day to all my Facebook family and friends and thank you to those that came on the live feed last night on Youtube Pastor Mark 3580.

Our Devotion Today Is called, ” Seek those things which are above “, In the Book of Colossians chapter three and verse one it says, If then you were raised with Christ, Seek those things which are above, Where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. To be raised with Christ means that I have died to self. Luke Chapter 9 and verse 23 Jesus said, If any man come after me let him deny himself, pick up his cross and follow Me, And that goes for the ladies. I know personally that 41 years ago I gave my life to Jesus and it was changed drastically. I ended up changing so many of the things I was doing at that time to live the life that I Live Today. It was as if the old Mark Lewis died and Jesus raised a new Mark Lewis to live for Him. To seek things that are above is something I never did before I came to Christ. I never prayed, I never read my Bible, I never went to church or told anybody about Jesus but all that changed when I was born again. I don’t think that means that somebody who doesn’t do all that won’t go to heaven. Because there are some that are maybe different in that aspect. They could be more of an introvert or whatever it might be. So I’m not saying you have to do all that to go to heaven but it is a good thing to practice if you’re born again to be in fellowship and in prayer and in reading God’s word. I guess you would say the things that are above would be Christ. That I would be seeking the Lord every day in my life for my life. Galatians chapter two and verse 20 says, I have been crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, But Christ lives in me; And the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me. Well that kind of sums it up. Die to self and live for Christ and seek those things which are above and you will be more of a happy camper.

Love you all from Texas and always remember that Jesus loves you!
