“Weep with those who weep” Is the title of our devotion today. Romans chapter 12 and verse 15 says, rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Years ago when my brother Pastor Mike went home to be with Jesus on September 22nd 2003 Some people came by and they would actually try to cheer me up. That is the worst thing a person could do when a person is grieving and not long after that Pastor Greg Laurie lost his son and wrote a book about what not to say when people are grieving and I’m so glad that he did. We will be going through it for some time out here because of June 22nd 2026 when my son in law Jerek James Foster went home to be with the Lord. The second part of this says rejoice with those who rejoice and right now I couldn’t rejoice if I had to. And I know the Lord understands because He went through this life also. Hebrews chapter 4 and verse 15 says, For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin. I truly believe it is only Jesus that knows exactly what you go through when you go through the valley of the shadow of death because he experienced it personally. Hopefully next week I can get back to the proverbs and rise above this grieving somewhat and once again thank you thank you thank you for everything.
