Daily Devotion
What now?
Good day from Texas. Please pray for me and Tina We are coming to California Thursday and we will be staying until Tuesday. I’ve been asked to do the memorial for Pam Scott and to speak at Bike Night and to speak Sunday morning at purpose of heart Church. So I sure want to see your face at one of these places.
Our Devotion Today is called, ” What now? ” In John chapter 6 verse 68 it says, then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You alone have the words of eternal life. Peter spoke these words after Jesus had told them that many are going to leave, And then in verse 67 he asked them Will you go away? Peter’s answer is a great one, Where else can we go. With the world in chaos and light and darkness showing more and more, with so many people wondering what is going on, Jesus made it so clear all those years ago in Matthew Chapter 11 starting in verse 28, He said come unto me, all you that labor in are heavy laden , and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. What Now? With what we have seen in the last few weeks with our brother Charlie Kirk being assassinated and with all the ugly comments and at the same time we see a revival with God’s people forgiving and loving. I think the answer is clear to what now, The answer is turn to Jesus like Peter said. Where else can we go? You alone have the words of eternal life and you alone are the one that will give us peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you Jesus.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
