Good day to you all and I just tried to go live this morning and I am still blocked but we are trying something out here to see if I can go on another site and I will let you know if that works later today.

The title of our devotion today is called, ” Who can say I am saved by my works? ” Proverbs Chapter 20 and verse 9 says, Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from sin? The obvious answer is nobody. There’s a quote from a man and I can’t remember who it is but it goes something like this, I am so glad that we are saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves It is a gift of God not of works lest any man should boast, Ephesians 2:8 and 9 and he went on to say because he couldn’t stand being in eternity with a bunch of people bragging about how they got there. The only bragging we will be doing is on Jesus Christ and that’s how it should be here and now. Any good thing that comes out of me I can honestly say, glory to God and thank you Jesus. Isn’t legalism just the opposite of that? Saying I have to keep this and do that to get to heaven. We should always strive to be better but that doesn’t save us! The thief on the cross is a perfect example of grace. Just as Moses/law couldn’t bring the children of Israel into the promise land but Joshua/Jesus could. Works cannot save us but Jesus can. Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure for my sin? Who can say I am saved by my works? No one and We should never promote works we should always promote grace. Does works follow? Yes they do! James chapter Two at verse 18 says, but someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, And I will show you my faith by my works. A reminder that me and Miss Tina will be in California in July and on the 11th I will be teaching on our men’s ranch 9:00 AM and on the 12th on Sunday I will be teaching at Purpose of Heart Ministries and I believe that is 9 AM .
