” Windows of life ” Is the title of our devotion today. Second Peter Chapter One verse three says as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. As I get older I don’t like to look back too much on life because there is so much collateral damage so many people that have passed from this life to the next friends and family. Ecclesiastes says there’s a season for everything under heaven. Every year we see the new leaves come and then in the fall we see them die and fall to the ground, and it is somewhat like that in life We have these windows of life that we remember passing through and our mind holds pictures and memories of people and things but the most important thing is when we gave our life to Jesus Christ. And what God gives us is the hope of eternity. So many of those people that have passed from this life are now with Jesus and I have the hope of seeing them again someday. As this life goes by we have those memories, those windows that we see through some painful and so joyful. But someday we will be on to glory and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and those that have gone before us.
