Penny for your thoughts
Good day from Texas. I will be going live tonight at 6:00 PM. We are going to try and finish chapter one of the Book of Colossians. Also, once again, if you can find it in your heart to donate to Joe and Chelsea for their adoption you can go to adopttogether.org Thank you so much. A lot of people have been asking about the addresses where we will be Saturday night and Sunday. This Saturday night we will be at Bike Night and it is being held behind Jack in the Box on 4th Street just West of the 215 Freeway Starting at 6:00. Sunday morning at 10 am I will be speaking at Purpose of Heart Ministries and that is located at 24525 Iris in Moreno Valley, And we hope to see you at one of these places or both.
” Penny for your thoughts ” Is the title of our devotion today. Psalm 139 verse 2 says, You know my sitting down and my rising up you understand my thoughts from afar. Isn’t it amazing how God knows the thoughts of every human on this planet with all the different languages and times it is mind blowing to think He can take it all in. But that is exactly what the Bible teaches that he knows our thoughts and in verse four of chapter 139 it says, for there is not a word in my tongue, oh LORD, You know it altogether. He knows what we’re gonna say before we ever say it. And that makes me think how merciful, forgiving, loving our God really is. Because if you’re like me you have a tendency to think bad things but God in his grace and mercy still loves us no matter what. I think of the time when Jesus was at Simon the Pharisee’s house and Simon the Pharisee was thinking about the harlot woman that Jesus had with Him, And the Pharisee and his thoughts said if he only knew what this woman was and Jesus answered him and said I know who she is and she has been forgiven much and that’s why she loves much. Our God is an amazing God That doesn’t need a penny for our thoughts. He knows every one of them. That should probably make us try to control our thoughts a little better. Hope to see you all this weekend and please continue to pray for the Kirk family, The Trujillo family, and Pam Scott’s family, and also for Ruben Ramirez and for Pastor Tom Prokop for complete healing.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
