Good day to you all and yesterday was a very rough day for our family. We went out to the accident site and put up a cross and my little grandson Julian said let’s pray and we all gathered and then we opened the Bible and read out of the gospel of John and cried. Our Devotion on this Monday is called, ” A faithful messenger ” Proverbs chapter 25 and verse 13 says, like the cold of snow in time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters. Being faithful is a great quality. Whether it’s a faithful worker, Husband, father Or whatever, faithfulness is a great quality. And being a faithful messenger is someone who will speak the truth in love in season and out of season. In the Book of Revelation chapters two and three it speaks to the Church and it starts each message with, to the Angel of the Church of Ephesus or Smyrna or Philadelphia. The word their Angel can be translated as a messenger and a great messenger will bring the message of Jesus to the world. We have the letters in the Bible by messengers who brought them to each city and most people would not even recognize their names. But these are men that were faithful to bring the message of the writers to the churches and that’s how we got much of the Bible. The greatest messenger that ever walked the earth of course is Jesus and He Brought forth the greatest message this world has ever known and that message is, that God sent his only begotten Son to take away the sin of the world and whosoever would believe in Him would have everlasting life. A faithful messenger refreshes the of his masters. And I can say that we all want to be faithful messengers and bless our master Jesus!
