Good day to you all and I pray you had a blessed weekend and that you went to church on Sunday. We went to Joe and Chelsea’s church yesterday because our little grandbaby Eleanor was being dedicated to the Lord, Thank you Jesus!

“Called Blessed ” Is the title of our devotion today. Proverbs Chapter 31 and verse 28 says, Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, And he praises her. 23 years ago Tina and I and the kids took a road trip to Tennessee to see Graceland. Elvis, his mom and dad and his grandma are all buried there. On the grandma’s grave it had this verse Proverbs 31 and verse 28. As a parent I want to leave my children and my grandchildren more than an inheritance of money. I want to leave them an inheritance of Jesus and what He has done in my life. This month on the 22nd of September makes 23 years since my brother Pastor Mike Lewis went home to be with Jesus and also on the 22nd of this month it will be three months since my son in law Jerek James Foster went home to be with Jesus. There is no doubt that both these men would want to leave behind a legacy that says do what is right in the name of Jesus. You know we only have so many years here on this planet to accomplish what God has for us and they go by so fast. Called Blessed only comes from what God says in His Word and through doing that you will bless many people starting with your family and then going out from there. September 22nd and June 22nd will always be very difficult days for our family but we know we have a future and a hope in Christ. In Matthew chapter 10 verses 29 through 31 Jesus speaks of how important we are to Him. He says, Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; You are of more value than many sparrows. When one of our loved ones passes from this life They are not alone. The Bible teaches God is with them!
