Our devotion on this Wednesday is called, ” Speaking of Jesus ” Colossians chapter One verse 17 says, And He is before all things, And in Him all things consist. Before there ever was an earth and a sun and a moon and everything that we look at, There was Jesus! In John Chapter One verse one it says, In the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. And Verse 14 says, And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Genesis chapter one and verse one says, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and there is Jesus. Once again at the very beginning of creation. And not only that but it says that in Him all things consist. The word consist means, “held together”. So people wonder how we can fly through the air at the speed of a bullet being fired from a gun and how we on this planet are held on by what is called gravity. How are all these planets rotating at the same time without running into each other, And on and on and on And the answer is simply this, It is all held together by the Lord Jesus Christ. Speaking of Jesus, He is the most amazing person in this big O universe and He loves you more than anybody else in this big O universe. And He wants all of us to spend eternity with Him in this beautiful wonderful place that He calls heaven! I sure hope that everybody that reads this is born again and following after Christ because He is the only way into heaven, John chapter 14 verse 6.
