Ephesians Chapter 4 and verse 32 says, and be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, Even as God in Christ forgave you. The very next verse in Chapter 5 verse one says, therefore be imitators of God as dear children. We see God in Christ when He came to earth and what we see is that He didn’t use the power He had in a negative way. He used it in a positive way to overcome the Wiles of the devil. We are strong in Christ which means we have overcome the Wiles of the devil and are able to stand up against the evil of this world and be a light shining to those around us by not giving in. Does this mean that I would not defend my home if a burglar broke in? Of course not! When the rubber meets the road so to speak, a Christian man or woman will stand up and fight but that will be the last thing we would want to do. When the Roman soldiers came to arrest Jesus.
