Good day to you all from Texas, Come what may, pray and listen.

And our devotion on this Thursday is called, ” Pray and listen. ” Proverbs chapter one and verse 33 says, But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil. I don’t know about you but sometimes when I get done talking to God I just shut off the communication. And First Kings Chapter 19 and verse 12 it says, and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire, and after the fire a still small voice. I think sometimes we need to be still and find a quiet place to just sit and listen. But also God speaks to us through His Word! The verse here in Proverbs chapter one says whoever listens will dwell safely. God always leads us into green pastures, even though we might go through some battles to get there. Into a place of safety from the Wiles of the devil. Jeremiah Chapter 29 and verse eleven says, For I know the thoughts that I have toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. That is God’s heart towards us and on the other side the devil would love to ruin our life. John Chapter 10 and Verse 10 says, the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, and Jesus says, I have come that they may have life, And that they may have it more abundantly. Talk to God and listen to Him especially through His word And you will dwell safely and be secure without fear of evil. In a world so full of hate and evil, this is the place to be.
