Good day to everyone from the great state of Texas. I thank you all for your prayers. Joe and Chelsea should be coming home Wednesday hopefully, With a brand new baby girl!

Our devotion this Monday is called, ” Starting over ” 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 17 says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. Usually starting over is a hard thing. This year will make five years since Tina and I moved to Texas and starting over in a new place after all those years was a very hard thing to do. Probably the hardest thing was finding a church! And in this life we are going to be put to the test for many things. Whether it’s a new job, or a new relationship, it could be very hard. But one thing I found out when it comes to God, Starting over in life with Jesus was the biggest blessing I ever had. Being born again was like waking up from a bad dream and all of a sudden realizing the reason I was put on this planet. Being born again, I became a new person, old things passed away, and I was new. Suddenly, I had a thing in my life called conviction. When I would cuss I felt bad about it. If I did things that were against the Lord and His word, I felt bad about it. Starting over with God made me realize I didn’t need to have a drink to socialize. I didn’t need to fight when I got mad. I didn’t need to be rich to be happy. I realized that godliness with contentment Is great gain. Life in Jesus was the best thing that ever happened to me. And it can happen to you too, Romans 10:13, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved and that means you will be born again and you will be a new creature in Christ and on to glory.
