The battle rages on, Good vs evil
Good day to you all and I hope you had a great resurrection weekend. Jesus is alive and he’s coming back to get us!
Our devotion on this Monday is called, ” The battle rages on, Good vs Evil ” Proverbs Chapter 11 verses 20 and 21 says, those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the Lord, but the Blameless in their ways are his delight. Though they joined forces, The wicked will not go unpunished; but the posterity or the seed of the righteous will be delivered. As the time draws near for Jesus to return we see evil raising its ugly whether it’s through false religion or through drugs, alcohol perversion or whatever it might be. The Bible says that the perverse heart is an abomination to the Lord, it makes God sick. Have you ever thought, How can they believe some of the stuff that they are believing? Allowing children to change their gender, Defending terrorism, Saying that it’s OK to kill babies in the womb, The Bible says here that they will not go unpunished. On the other side the Bible calls His people blameless in verse 20 and it’s not because we are so perfect it’s because we have trusted Jesus as our Savior. In verse 21 here it says though they joined forces the wicked will not go unpunished. They can get all the people they want together and all the ammunition and all the power they want from this world and they are still going to be punished. There is no doubt who is going to win this battle of good and evil. Last weekend we just celebrated Jesus Christ rising from the dead and that is enough for me to say we are on the winning team. Good versus evil is a spiritual battle that has been going on since creation, starting in the Garden of Eden and because God is so long suffering it has gone on to this day. The devil is going down swinging and he’s going to take everybody he can with him but don’t give in to the Wiles of the devil Ephesians chapter 6 Verse 11. Follow Jesus and you will end up in heaven for eternity.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
