Good day to you all and we will be going live tonight. And we will be finishing Acts Chapter 5. The title of tonight’s message,God VS Man.

The title of our devotion on this Wednesday is called, ” Walk with the wise ” Proverbs Chapter 13 and verse 20 says, He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed. As a new believer in Christ many years ago I found myself wanting to hang around with the people who knew the Bible. Me and my twin brother Pastor Mike who is now with Jesus found ourselves in the middle of all the pastors and elders and deacons and because of that we grew in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. Before Christ it was not like that we were hanging around with people who I guess would be called lewd fellows of the baser sort and it certainly didn’t help us. According to James chapter three and verse 14, The wisdom of this world is envy and self seeking in your hearts and we certainly don’t want that. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. And that is verse 17 of James 3 and that is the type of people we want to hang out with or better known in the Christian world as fellowship. Be careful of the company you keep, Weather in the church or not make sure that the people we hang around with have wisdom from above and that doesn’t mean that we can’t Go to a birthday party or a get together with unbelievers because how will they know unless God send a preacher, but we don’t fellowship with them in other words get involved with the nonsense. This verse at the end says but the companion of Fools will be destroyed and that is very strong language for us to pay attention to. Psalm 14 :1 Says, the fool has said in his heart there is no God. And that type of a person, the Bible says, they will be destroyed. Walk with the wise men and women and you will become wise yourself, wisdom from above!
