A blessed and beautiful day to you all from the Lewis family here in Texas. We will be going live tonight at 6:00 PM California Time 8 PM Texas Time and we will be looking at ACTS Chapter 6 and the title of that message is, Let all things be done decently and in order. The title of our devotion this morning is called,

” Elevator up or elevator down? ” Proverbs chapter 15 and verse 24 says, ” The way of life winds upward for the wise, that he may turn away from hell below. Ain’t it great to know that we are heading upward and not downward in our walk. The way of life for the believer is always working for the good and heading towards those pearly gates. It might not seem like it at times, with all the things we go through in this life. But Paul wrote in Romans chapter eight and verse 18, for I reckon that the suffering of this present time is not worthy to be compared with a glory which shall be revealed in us. Isn’t it good to know that we are getting further and further away from hell as we walk with the Lord. That there is no way that we are going to end up there because we have trusted Jesus Christ as our Savior and now He is our deliverer. But He not only delivers us from hell He delivers us from so much more in this world, not trials and tribulations but sin! Jesus calls this road the straight and narrow road, Matthew 7:13-14, Because it goes straight to heaven but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some curves and sharp ones on the way because we are gonna go through those turns that are hard to handle but it’s not up to us to handle it because the battle belongs to the Lord. Exodus chapter 15 verse three says the Lord is a man of war, The Lord is His name. 2nd Chronicles Chapter 20 verse 15 says, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. We are on our way to heaven Shouting victory, Don’t give in to temptation, because you have been set free!
