Well happy Christmas week 2025 to everyone and I pray this message finds everybody doing well.

” God gave ” is the title of our devotion today. John 3 verse 16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever should believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. This time of year is a time to be a giver like the book of Acts says it is more blessed to give than to receive and if anybody knows about that it is Jesus. Jesus said No man takes my life I lay it down. He gave of himself in every way! He gave up heaven to come to earth, He gave up comfort to live in an uncomfortable world, He gave up his power and humbled Himself and took on the form of a servant and He did all of it and more for us. Our Heavenly Father was behind it all watching as His son was ridiculed, treated horribly and finally put upon a cross. But we celebrate the birth of Jesus this week. The birth of the Messiah of Israel who came for the sole purpose of taking away the sin of the world so we would have a way into heaven. There is not a greater giver in the universe than that of God himself. As we get busy this week with all the Christmas things that we do, let’s not forget the greatest giver in the universe, God Himself who gave it all for us!
