Hello hello hello to everyone out there. It seems that our country is being cleaned up and there are those that don’t like it. Did you know that crime is down 20% since last year nationwide. Whatever is going on is working so please pray for those that are doing the cleaning! This week we had the pleasure of meeting our brand new grandbaby Ella James Lewis and she is a beautiful little baby , thank you Jesus. I’ve decided to do devotions out of Proverbs for a while and we will start in chapter one and work our way through.

Our Devotion this Morning is called, ” The beginning of knowledge ” Proverbs Chapter 1 verse 7 says the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The word wisdom is knowledge applied and the knowledge we all need to have is the knowledge of God. The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians chapter three verse 10, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering, being conformed to His death. There have been some great minds throughout the ages, giving us electricity, air conditioning, cars to drive, airplanes to fly in. But none of that compares to knowing the Lord from heaven because without the knowledge of God, without knowing the person of Jesus Christ, We are doomed and besides that, knowing God brings the blessing of peace that surpasses all understanding and eternal life. You can be a fool/unbeliever and live a life apart from God, which is your choice to do. But there is hell to pay or you can live an abundant life, John 10:10 by knowing Jesus! Choose Jesus today. The choice is up to you now, which way will you go, Stakes are just a little too high Gambling with your soul !
