Happy Monday to everybody and I hope everyone had a blessed weekend.

Our Devotion today is called, ” The eyes of love ” Proverbs chapter 15 and verse 3 says, the eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch of the evil and the good. God doesn’t watch us to try and catch us in something bad He watches us because He loves us. John chapter 3 verse 16. I remember years ago when our little girl Raina Was out by the swimming pool and she was getting ready to jump in and I was just watching her and the reason I was watching her is because I was concerned for her. I’ve always thought I wish I could keep an eye on my children all the time to protect them from the bad in this world. And there’s no doubt when it says the eyes of the LORD are in every place it’s because God loves us and I bet when we get to heaven we will see how many times He detoured us from bad things. It is not this way with the world. They have cameras on every corner and they are more for catching somebody doing bad than protecting people. It’s sad to say but it’s true! It says here keeping watch on the good and the evil and God watches out for us but He also knows every evil thing that a person does and someday those people who have done evil and think they have gotten away with it will stand before God Almighty and answer for what they’ve done. The Bible says in 2nd Peter chapter three And verse 9, The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but his long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The God of the Bible is a God of love 1st John chapter 4 verse 10 and verse 8. God is so awesome, Let’s all thank Him for watching over us and taking care of us Amen.
