Good day to you all and please pray for our military that is fighting for freedom over in Iraq and not just for the freedom of Iraq but for our freedom also.

Today our devotion is called, ” winning souls ” Proverbs chapter 11 and verse 30 says, The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. What is the fruit of the righteous? It would have to be the fruit of the Holy Spirit Galatians 5 in verse 22 and 23. Which starts with love. The greatest way we could win somebody’s heart is by being like Jesus. People are attracted to love, True love, the love of God. And that leads, as a Christian to a tree of Life the Bible says. Nowadays through DNA We can trace our family tree which is really cool. But what’s even cooler than that is the family tree of God. By loving and showing God’s love and winning souls to God, We can have a huge tree with many converts in it that are praising God day and night. Now the Bible says he who wins souls is wise. All through the proverbs Solomon speaks of wisdom and this is one of those wisdoms that we should be seeking after. Personally I think the best way to win souls is by being a good example, And a good example would be showing the Fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life. And what we are called to do as God’s children is plant seeds, the word being the seed and the heart of man is where it would be planted. So by sharing God’s love and sharing God’s word we can see God do the work in people’s lives and that is an awesome thing!
